Join our Installations Department as a trustworthy, proactive Installations Engineer, representing Acorn in customers’ homes by delivering exceptional stairlift installations with outstanding quality and care.
*** This role will involve working away from home and the role can include occasional trips to help our offices in Europe ***
Type of contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Flexible to suit business needs)

The Ideal Candidate
- A full clean driving licence
- Mechanical or Installation background would be advantageous but not essential
- Must be honest, reliable, and have the ability to communicate on different levels
- Willingness to travel, including working away from home as needed.
- A Criminal Records Bureau check will be carried out on the successful candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out installations of our stairlifts into our customers homes
- Collecting materials from our truck/factory before travelling to our customers homes
- Carry out on-site repairs and adjustments if needed.
- Support our logistics and stock management processes.
- Enjoy opportunities to travel
Salary Package
Salary: £40K to £60K Per Annum OTE (Pay is calculated on a per installation basis)

About the Field Engineers Department
Our highly skilled team of Field Engineers install and maintain our stairlifts within customers’ homes. They are passionate about providing excellent service and building positive relationships with our customers. Our engineers work carefully, with great attention to detail, ensuring our products meet or exceed industry health and safety standards. Opportunities within field service include stairlift installation, servicing and general maintenance at regional and national level.
