Job Description
We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Installations Department as a Removal Engineer, with the potential to progress into an Installations Engineer role. This hands-on position involves the careful removal of stairlifts from customers’ homes, delivering high standards of service while supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and customer care.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (Flexible to suit business needs)

The Ideal Candidate
- Full, Clean Driving Licence – Essential for travel to customer locations across the region.
- Mechanical or Installation Experience – Preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong Personal Qualities – Must be honest, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with customers and team members at all levels.
- Background Check – The successful applicant will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check as part of our commitment to customer safety and trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Removal of stairlifts from customers' homes with care and attention to detail.
- Collection of Equipment from our headquarters prior to site visits.
- Customer-Facing Professionalism, ensuring a polite, courteous, and respectful presence at all times.
- Travel & Occasional Overnight Stays required, offering variety and the opportunity to work in new locations.
Salary Package
£12.25p/h (Paid Flat 40 hours) PLUS Removal Bonus of £10 for each Straight Lift Removal and £10 for each lift Curve Removal (Aim of Minimum 5 Jobs Per Day)

About the Field Engineers Department
Our highly skilled team of Field Engineers install and maintain our stairlifts within customers’ homes. They are passionate about providing excellent service and building positive relationships with our customers. Our engineers work carefully, with great attention to detail, ensuring our products meet or exceed industry health and safety standards. Opportunities within field service include stairlift installation, servicing and general maintenance at regional and national level.
