Cashbook Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Cashbook Supervisor to join our Finance department based in Steeton, West Yorkshire.

In this role, you will ensure that all payments and receipts are posted quickly, efficiently, and at the highest levels of accuracy.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours

Starting Salary: £30,000 P/A  (subject to experience)

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a Finance / Admin role (essential)
  • Competent Excel skills (essential)
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Experience of SAP ideal but not essential as full training is given
  • AAT or equivalent training (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing all treasury related processes for UK and other Group Companies / Related Parties
  • Managing and supporting the Cashbook team in the UK while assisting the US, Italy, Canada and other related party teams where needed
  • Reconciling data generated by multiple company systems in an accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Advanced data manipulation and analytical skills including use of SAP and Excel
  • Ensuring accuracy and timing of postings to achieve month end deadlines and process targets
  • Troubleshooting issues and proposing solutions
  • Contributing effectively to developing, implementing and improving processes
  • Providing training and support where necessary
  • Contributing to the day to day operational tasks as necessary
  • Provide support to the wider Finance team and/or business as required
