Job Description
We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant (Part-Time) to join our Facilities department at our Head Office in Steeton, West Yorkshire.
Salary: £11.65 P/H
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 3:00pm

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous work experience in a similar role
- Team player
- Cooking experience is advantageous
- Barista experience and use of coffee machines would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of all breakfast and lunch meals in order to provide Acorn employees with refreshments.
- Serving a varied menu of hot and cold foods to cater for all requirements.
- Ensuring that the catering facility complies with Food Standard Agency regulations, and any other legal requirements, in order to maintain continued service.
- Assisting the Catering Supervisor in all other aspects of running an employee canteen, with specific relation to the ordering and delivery of stock and supplies.
- Day to day cooking, cleaning and service in a professional and pleasant manner
- Till work, stock replenishment
- Introduce new ideas and working practices to the team to improve the process as required
