Inventory Controller (Production)
Job Description
We are currently looking for an Inventory Controller to join our team at our Production team at our Head Office in Steeton, West Yorkshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock control, updating systems, and ensuring accurate inventory levels. If you have strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and are wanting to contribute to a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply!
Hourly Rate: £12.75 P/H
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6.00 - 14.30 (last Friday of the month 8.00 - 16.30)
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential
- Problem solving skills
- Be able to work to an extremely high quality standard
- Good time management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Stock control and verification (shortages)
- Ensure Internal system is updated appropriately when we do manual stock movements
- Assist with maintenance of Stock levels and to ensure products meets our criteria (shortages, overstocks, barcodes, correct product at right location, etc)
- Assist Supervisor with stock maintenance and coordination (includes feedback/communication/monitoring re picked parts, discrepancies)
- Submit feedback/report to supervisor with regards to stock related issues
- Be able to multitask and work under pressure as and when required
- Appropriate communication and feedback within department, other departments and management
- Problem solving and Decision making – while solving stock issues
- Assisting supervisors with other task as and when required

Roles within production include administration, production, warehousing, quality and inventory control and engineering.
