Field Service Engineer - Ipswich
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department covering the Ipswich area.
*** MUST BE BASED WITHIN THE IP POSTCODE AREA ***
Salary: £30,700 - £33,580 P/A ( + OTEs)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. (1 in 3 weekends or 1 in 4 weekends - Contractual).
The Ideal Candidate
- A full clean driving licence
- Must be honest, reliable, and have the ability to communicate on different levels
- A Criminal Records Bureau check will be carried out on the successful candidate

Key Responsibilities
- Travelling on a daily basis to our customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts.
- May include multiple overnight stays per week.
- Diagnosing, and providing hands on troubleshooting, service, and repairs to existing Stairlifts within the field
- Meeting all targets and deadlines in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide high levels of customer service - ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions, with the assistance of management.
- Carrying out the product update and safety checks in a safe manner
- To communicate effectively with external customers, and provide customer feedback.

About the Field Engineers Department
Our highly skilled team of Field Engineers install and maintain our stairlifts within customers’ homes. They are passionate about providing excellent service and building positive relationships with our customers. Our engineers work carefully, with great attention to detail, ensuring our products meet or exceed industry health and safety standards. Opportunities within field service include stairlift installation, servicing and general maintenance at regional and national level.
