Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Due to continued success and growth of the business, we are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Production Maintenance Team in Steeton.
Salary: £36,000 P/A
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage (electrical/mechanical)
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential)
- Ability to work alone
- Good communication with all colleagues at different levels in the company
- Good eye for detail and quality?
- A degree of flexibility required should a machine breakdown
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking scheduled maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns in a positive manner
- Carrying out diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Completing timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service
- Identifying any spare part requirements
- Installing and commissioning to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Filling out and feedback internal paperwork
