Production Operative - Returns
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Production Operative to join our Returns Team in our factory in Steeton.
The purpose of the role is to handle the incoming deliveries of returned products by inspecting, sorting, labelling, and storing of the items in the correct location and updating the system records.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary: £11.55 P/H
The Ideal Candidate
- IT Literate
- Attention to detail
- No previous experience in a similar role is required as full training will be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Check returned product against the system
- Manually check product to insure they are in good working order
- Check the system to insure the product in sent to the correct place
- Learn product types, parts or rail sections and deal with them accordingly
- Follow procedure when finding incorrect returned products and inform the correct people
- Check system on a daily basis to ensure nothing is missed
