Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Business Development Account Manager to join our Export team based at our headquarters in Steeton, West Yorkshire

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Acorn's new and existing B2B accounts. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers across the globe. If you're an ambitious and motivated person, who enjoys communicating on all levels, we would love to hear from you.

Basic Salary: £25 - 26K P/A  + (Achievable OTE £38k)
Type of Contract: Full-Time
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous work experience in a similar sales role
  • Commercial knowledge to analyse market data and identify new opportunities
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to approach people at all levels of seniority
  • Can speak a fluent second European language (advantageous)
  • Target orientated
  • Good team player

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing dealer business accounts in Acorn's export team
  • Identify new business opportunities across the globe
  • Provide dealer quotes and negotiate pricing
  • Order processing
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints
  • Working to targets and in-house KPI's
