Logistics Stock Controller
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Logistics Stock Controller to join our Team based at our Office in Steeton (West Yorkshire, UK)
Working hours: 40 hours per week 8am - 5pm (May be required to work bank holidays and travel/overnight stays accordingly)
Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year (including bank holidays) Raises with length of service
The Ideal Candidate
- GCSE Maths (minimum C grade)
- Computer Literate with experience using spreadsheets
- Administration
- Experience of a similar role would be advantageous
- Foreign language speaker (French, German, Italian) would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Coordinate stock audits for UK engineers - Spot checks/counts in the field
- Complete stock takes for leavers
- Provide system training for logistics for logistics tasks for new starters/underperforming engineers
- Provide stock management training for new starters and underperforming engineers
- Complete trailers inventory count
- Reconcile completed stock takes by compiling data from in-house systems
- Investigate discrepancies using available reports
- Submit feedback/report to supervisor with regards to stock related issues
- Record and monitor stock management by engineers
- Provide telephone support to logistics system users
- Coordinating with the Fleet department for van collections
- Supporting the Logistics team and manager with day to day tasks ensuring smooth running of department as a whole
Salary Package
Salary : up to £23,000 a year (DOE)
