Senior Management Accountant
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance Team at our headquarters in Steeton (West Yorkshire, UK)
The Ideal Candidate
- ACCA / CIMA qualified
- At least 3 years of experience in Management Accounts role with experience of a manufacturing company
- Require advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Experience of SAP preferred
- Ability to speak a European language would be beneficial but not essentia
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts for multiple UK entities and assist with annual Statutory Accounts
- Prepare and deliver accurate profit & loss accounts with analysis and commentaries of key variances
- Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Calculation of Quarterly Corporation Tax payments
- Preparation of Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasting process
- Assist with the preparation of Standard Costs
- Reconciling data generated by multiple company systems
- Advanced data manipulation and analytical skills including use of SAP and Excel
- Provide support to the Financial Reporting Manager and other Managers / Supervisors
- Effectively undertaking any other duties as required
- Carry out any other reasonable requests by management
Salary Package
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (depending on experience)
