Warehouse Associate
Job Description
This position provides general assistance in the Warehouse.
The Ideal Candidate
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Ability to react to change productively and participate in other projects or essential tasks as required or assigned
Operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Strives for continuous improvement in all aspects of the work environment

Experience using hand tools; drills, saws
Attention to detail
Basic mathematical skills
Qualifications:
The incumbent will possess or demonstrate an ability to acquire the following
Post-secondary diploma or equivalent skills and knowledge
2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
Certification on counterbalance forklift trucks
Great attitude, work ethic, and communication skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proven reading comprehension skills
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Computer literacy including Word, Excel and business systems software
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 80-100 pounds

Key Responsibilities
Required to cut and ship rails
Order picking
Perform inventory stock counts
Data entry and auditing of off-site inventory stock counts
Unloading of inbound shipments and containers
Schedule and load outbound shipments with carriers
Ensures product is stored in appropriate storage locations
Housekeeping to ensure a tidy/organized warehouse
Other duties as assigned/required
