Senior Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
This position is responsible for the logistics & inventory components of the business. The main responsibilities are the facilitation of supply chain operations with a main focus on inventory, shipping, receiving & general warehousing duties.

Qualifications:
The incumbent will possess or demonstrate an ability to acquire the following
Secondary school diploma or relevant experience
5-10 years warehouse experience
3 years supervisory experience
Physical Demands:
Lift or move up to 110 lbs

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize and control activities within the Logistics Department to meet the business requirements
Monitor and maintain required inventory levels
Communicate inventory levels to necessary parties & documents all discrepancies
Complete quality control checks on inbound shipments
Ensure correct orders are sent to customers as soon as possible
Co-ordinate all monthly audits of physical inventory with the technicians
Assist with product pricing and availability inquires as needed
Track and verify all return stock, including loaner units
Streamline transportation and shipping processes
Monitor warehouse capacity and make sure all levels are optimal for space provided
Complete audits of all onsite/ offsite inventory Canada wide, both monthly & annually
Preform cycle counts, prepare for inventory and prep warehouse staff to assist
Contact, compare, and choose best choice of carrier for shipments based on pricing & annual budget
Efficiently solve issues in relation to technicians, finance, and 3rd party transportation contractors
Support Operations Manager with day to day tasks ensuring smooth running of the department as a whole
Always follow Acorn Stairlift’s safety, security, and housekeeping programs in the Warehousing Department to support a safe work environment and the achievement of the Company`s safety objectives
Establish and maintain productive relationships with coworkers, internal contacts, suppliers, and external contacts, to optimize co-ordination efforts and facilitate the achievement of the department’s standards of performance
Investigate and report all accidents on a timely basis
Other duties as assigned/required
