International Trade Sales Advisor (German Speaking)

Job Description

The role consists of:

Use internal data base to contact existing dormant/new Acorn dealers to develop them to be a regular ordering account

  • Look after all key accounts within area of responsibility- ensuring business growth and maintain the existing good business relationships.
  • Give regular feedback to line manager.
  • Use diary to log calls/make notes, organize call backs and keep dealers informed of received orders.
  • Check spec of all lift orders that come through the trade desk for any potential problematic issues and identify price differences.
  • Log all lift and parts orders and track progress dates through credit control, drawing office and production where appropriate. Keep the dealers informed at each stage of the process.
  • Identify any potential problems and escalate where appropriate to avoid customer dissatisfaction,
  • Deal with customer queries/ complaints in a friendly, professional and efficient manner, whilst building rapport with the customer.
  • Build relationships with dealers through making outbound calls to maintain existing levels of business and drive increased sales volumes
  • Assist in building sales through service by making sure all problems are resolved within 48 hours.
  • Work with other members of the team in a positive and supportive manner to keep a friendly working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Skills and Experience:

  • Must be fluent in German with Very good English (Other additional languages advantageous)
  • Previous work experience in a similar role
  • Commercial knowledge to analyse market data and identify new opportunities
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to approach people at all levels of seniority
  • Ambitious and persistent
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working to targets

Key Responsibilities

Salary Package

Salary package: £21,000 - £23,000 + commission (OTE 34k)

Type of contract: Full time

Working hours: Mon – Fri 8.30 – 5.00

Holidays: 28 days per year (including bank holidays) Raises with length of service
